About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join our project and engineering team. The role will involve supporting the execution, coordination, supervision, and quality control of civil works across airport and industrial projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in site execution, technical coordination, drawings, quality management, and construction activities, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction and execution activities at project sites.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Ensure civil works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed according to the approved project schedule.
- Inspect workmanship, materials, and construction activities to maintain required quality standards.
- Identify site issues, technical constraints, and execution challenges and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, and technical proposals.
- Assist in quantity verification, measurements, reconciliation, and preparation/review of contractor bills.
- Monitor construction materials and ensure appropriate storage, handling, and usage at site.
- maintain project records, inspection reports, site instructions, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in site meetings and provide technical inputs on civil engineering matters.
- coordinate testing and inspection activities and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Support project teams in resolving design and construction-related issues.
- Monitor adherence to health, safety, environmental, and project-specific requirements.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering and construction.
- Strong experience in airport, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, quality control, and site execution.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering/construction software.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
